The last several years, participation in a community yard sale has been minimal. Often we only have 2 or 3 families that participate. However, if you are interested in participating in a spring yard sale, please indicate so by filling out the poll on this page.

Update On Landscaping Project For Neighborhood Entrance

Filed under:Uncategorized — posted by admin on @ 6:40 pm

We’ve made great progress in our landscaping project. A small grant from the New Castle County Council (sponsored by Councilwoman Stephanie McClellan) will provide support to replace the broken sign at the south neighborhood entrance. Additionally, support from DelDOT (sponsored by Representative Terry Schooly and Senator Lianne Sorenson) will fund a new brick structure at the north end of the neighborhood. This will be a lighted sign that is similar in design to the Fairfield Sign across the street. The Dept of Agriculture has also pledged to match our funds for landscaping and will provide an on-site visit with a forester for landscaping advisement. We anticipate completion of the project by spring. Please direct your comments to Laurie Hanich (Laurie@FairfieldCrest.com)
